Discover The Beauty Of Atlas Mountains: A Day Excursion From Marrakech To ImlilEmbark on a leisurely Day Excursion tailored for those desiring a taste of the Atlas Mountains without extensive walking. Begin with a comfortable taxi transfer from Marrakech to Imlil, with photo stops and, if time permits, a local market visit. Venture along mule tracks for a one-hour walk to Aremd, the final village before Toubkal. Revel in breathtaking views of the valley and Toubkal summit. Enjoy a picnic lunch in Aremd before retracing your steps to Imlil. Conclude the day with mint tea at a cafe terrace in Imlil before returning to Marrakech.

Sidi (Saint) Chamharouch is a name of the sultan of the jinns (King of Devils). It is located at 2350m altitude halfway on the trail of Imlil to Refuge Toubkal Les Mouflons.

Met my guide there. Was welcomed in by all staff who made me feel at home even though I was not staying there. Next time I will stay as hospitality second to none.

Experience was very nice, guide Mustapha gave a lot of information and answered any question. He also helped someone by carrying her bag when she had difficulties to follow the group (most of group were more sportive). Even if you don’t have a lot of time in Marrakech but want to see something else this is totally recommended. Combination of waking and beautiful views! Camel ride was nice, but because we also booked a trip to the Sahara, this part wasn’t the most important for us.
